Jamshedpur, Nov. 29: The government and banks are continuing their efforts to overcome the situation which was generated after the demonetisation.
The Prime Minister announced on November 8 evening that Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes will not have leagl tender from the midnight.
Banks are working in mission mode to open bank account of workers from organised and unorganised sectors.
Bank of Baroda (BOB) has been organising account opening camps ate various places in the city.
On Tuesday, account opening camp was held by Telco and Gamharia branches of the bank where large number of people opened savings account.
