Chaibasa, March 14: Rotaract Club of Chaibasa organised a mega blood donation camp at Kolhan University (KU) campus on Wednesday. The camp which began at 10 am was inaugurated by Vice chancellor of KU, Dr Shukla Mahanty. A total of 73 units of blood was collected during the day long camp.
Rotaract Club Chairman Sourabh Mudhra said, blood donation is noble work.
Blood is needed during mishaps and if we do not have sufficient units of blood in stock it may create problem during any emergency circumstances. The Camp was supported by NSS Incharge SP Mandal.
Present on the occasion were Namlin Susma Purty, Prakash Deogam, Hansa Raj Mishra, Kanhayia Garg, Akshya Kumar Gupta, Durgesh Khatri and others.
