Jamshedpur: Under the banners of Interact club, blood donation camp was organized in Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia in association with Jamshedpur Blood Bank on Saturday.
S.K. Singh, Secretary, V.B.D.A Jharkhand was the chief guest for the occasion. Guest of honour was Secretary Dr. R.K. Varma and Gouri of Blood Bank.
Managing Director Dr B.D.Sharma, Principal Dr. Sunita Sinha, Administrator Krishna Modak, Vice Principal Arbind Chakraborty, Jr. Coordinator Rita chowdhary, PRO Rajesh Sharma were present.
Several enthusiastic participants including teaching, non-teaching staff, guardians, seniors (18+) students participated in this noble cause. The program continued till 2pm where every donor had to pass through the preliminary medical tests like BP, HB weight etc, before donating the blood. Total 45 units of blood were collected during the camp. The whole program was organised by Interact club under the Incharge Debjani Banerjee.
