Jamshedpur, October 22: A blood donation camp was organised by social organization Chand-Bhirav Hull Gavnta at Shankar Da Panchayat (Potka) near Narwapahar on Saturday.
A total of 117 blood donors participated I the camp were number of adivasi youths donated blood. Guest for the occasion, Director (Mines), said that blood donation is great work for the society.
He further said that people in the rural areas are now more aware towards blood donation and this is the reason why 93 units of blood were collected which is a great start.
Deputy Director of the company, PK Nayak, said, blood donation is the need of the hour which would help in any time of crisis.
He made the youths to actively participate in blood donation. At the camp Jamshedpur Red Cross Society and Jamshedpur blood bank team helped in making the camp successful.
Also present were Sudhir Soren, Vidya Sagar Das, Jitu Rai Murmu, Jahren das Baskey, Rajendra Singh and others.
