Blood donation drive at SDSM School

Jamshedpur, June 26: SDSM School for Excellence organized a blood donation camp on the 18th death anniversary of the school founder Sukhdev Singh at the school campus on Saturday.

Keeping the tradition alive, the camp was organized by Sukhdev Singh Memorial Educational Foundation Trust.

The camp was inaugurated by garlanding the portrait of Sukhdev Singh. All the blood donors, parents and students were felicitated by offering flower bouquet.

Guests on the occasion were Vijay Singh, Anand Bihari Dubey, Chandragupt Singh and Ramshray Prasad.

Donors’ card was also provided to the donors to facilitate them with an extraordinary service of getting Blood units whenever required for their family members.

Earlier, welcoming the August gathering Moushumi Das, principal of the school shared her views and said that everyone should donate blood as it replicates human values and social responsibility towards our society.

Vijay Singh, secretary of Red Cross Society, East Singhbhum, delivered a motivational speech and said donating blood is a life saving attempt.

Meanwhile, the school believes that organizing blood donation camps on a regular basis is very important. It believes that all the section of the society should contribute towards the society and save lives.

“You don’t lose anything if you donate blood as the human body has a regenerating mechanism.”
