Blood donation drive at Hill Top School collects 35 units

Jamshedpur, August 19: A blood donation camp was organised by Class 11 students of Hill Top School in collaboration with the Voluntary Blood Donors Association (VBDA) and the Jamshedpur Blood Bank in the multipurpose hall of the school on Friday, August 19.

The camp was an initiative by the students of Class XI as a part of their Value Education project.

Pradeep Ghoshal, A.K. Verma, A Mazumdar from VBDA and Gauri Mukherjee from the Jamshedpur Blood Bank helped to conduct the event.

The Medical Checks were overseen by Dr. Rita Singh & her team from the Jamshedpur Blood Bank. The event was successful with 35 units of blood collected within a duration of five hours.

Simultaneously another group of senior students from the Science Club of Hill Top presented working models made out of waste.

The exhibition captured the creative spark in children & set their brains functioning on innovative ideas.
