Blood Donation Camp at Upkar Sangh in Jamshedpur on January 23

Jamshedpur: A blood donation camp will be organized on January 23 at the Upkar Sangh premises, beginning at 9:00 AM, under the joint auspices of Upkar Sangh and the Sonari Police Station Committee. The initiative aims to ensure the timely availability of blood for patients in need and to promote awareness about voluntary blood donation in society.

Providing details after a preparatory meeting, Advocate Sudhir Kumar Pappu, Secretary of the Sonari Police Station Committee and Patron of Upkar Sangh, said that senior district officials, including the District Transport Officer and the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic), will grace the occasion as chief guests. Their presence is expected to encourage blood donors and strengthen the spirit of social service.

Blood collection will be carried out safely under the supervision of trained doctors and healthcare personnel, following all medical protocols. The organizers have appealed to citizens, youth, social organizations, and voluntary blood donors to participate in large numbers and contribute to this noble humanitarian cause.

All blood donors will be provided with certificates, helmets, and basic facilities. Preparations for the camp have been completed, and committee members are actively engaged to ensure its success. The organizers expressed confidence that collective participation will make the camp successful and help save precious lives.

Prominent members present at the meeting included Upkar Sangh President Satpal Sahu, Narendra Kumar Sahu, Vishwakarma Verma, Umashankar Sharma, Kanhaiya Yadav, Hemant Sahu, Rajiv Verma, Jai Patel, Balkrishna Sahu, and others.
