Jamshedpur, Sep 1: A blood donation camp was organized on August 31 at St. Mary’s English School, Bistupur, by St. Mary’s Alumni Trust in collaboration with the Interact Club. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with blood donors from all communities coming forward to support the noble cause.
With the festive season approaching, the organizers announced Operation Blood in partnership with Team PSF and St. Mary’s Alumni Trust. The initiative aims to ensure timely availability of blood for patients in hospitals, fulfilling an important social responsibility.

The camp received strong support from school Principal Father Vernon D’Souza, whose encouragement contributed significantly to its success. Members of the Alumni Trust, including Shashi Tiwari, Gursharan Singh, Manjot Gill, Amrita Dhanjal, Chandrashekhar, Tajender Singh, and Vishal Sachdev, actively welcomed donors. The Interact Club, led by Arifa Sultana, also played a key role in managing the event.

Blood donors were honored with certificates and mementos as a token of appreciation. Additionally, Jamshedpur Blood Center members and Team PSF were felicitated with bouquets and mementos for their contribution. Team PSF Director Arijit Sarkar expressed gratitude to the Alumni Trust and Interact Club for their dedication, coordination, and commitment. He assured full support to the organizations in future initiatives.
The camp was graced by Trade Union President Rakeshwar Pandey as chief guest and Bistupur PS In-charge Umesh Thakur as guest of honor.
