Gamharia: An annual blood donation camp was organized on Sunday at Plant-1 of Ramkrishna Forgings Limited located in Phase-7 of the industrial area. The camp was inaugurated by the company’s Chief Operating Officer, Shakti Senapati, who cut the ribbon to formally open the event.
Addressing employees and workers who came forward to donate blood, Senapati encouraged them and described blood donation as the greatest act of service. He said there is no greater noble deed than donating blood and urged people from all sections of society to actively participate in such humanitarian initiatives.
The camp was organized in collaboration with Jamshedpur Blood Bank. Company officials and employees enthusiastically participated, resulting in the collection of 308 units of blood.
All donors were honoured with certificates and gifts. Vishnu Sahu from Goa was specially felicitated for donating blood for the 18th time.
Several officials, including Assistant General Manager (HR) Rintu Mukherjee and members of the HR and security teams, played an active role in making the camp successful. (w-nkm)
