Blood Donation Camp at MNPS

Jamshedpur, Sep 23: A Blood Donation Camp was organised on Thursday at Motilal Nehru Public School ( MNPS) which was inaugurated by Dr Mandar M. Shah – head consultant & HOD (TMH) and Dr Vanita Pandey (Oncopathologist) HOD, Pathology, MTMH. A total of 61 units of blood were collected at the camp. A team of doctors from Jamshedpur Blood Bank under the guidance of Dr. Rita Sinha Medical Officer, Jamshedpur Blood Bank, Jharkhand, helped in carrying out the Blood Donation. During this pandemic there is an acute crisis of blood and therefore, the need for active participation in donation at this time. Dr. Mandar M. Shah and Dr. Vanita Pandey supported and congratulated the institution for organising this camp every year, this being the 23rd consecutive year. V.S. Rana, chairman, school managing committee congratulated parents and students for donating blood and expressed happiness about the school’s involvement in such community initiatives.
