Blood camp at SDSM School collects 291 units

Jamshedpur, June 25: To commemorate the 19th Death Anniversary of the Founder Late S.D. Singh, S.D.S.M. School for Excellence organized a Mega Blood Donation Camp in the school premises on 25th June in association with Red Cross Society.

291 units of blood were donated at the camp. Donors were given a gift of appreciation for this service to humanity. Donor�s card was also provided to the donors to facilitate them with an extraordinary service of getting Blood units whenever required for their family members.

On the occasion Chairman of S.D. Singh Memorial Educational Foundation, Diwakar Singh shared his views and said that everyone should donate Blood as it replicates human values and social responsibility towards our society.
Chief Guest Ajay Kumar Singh (IRS), Dy. Commissioner, Income Tax appraised the gathering with his motivational speech and said donating blood is a life saving attempt.

�You don�t lose anything if you donate Blood as Human Body has a regenerating mechanism”, Singh added.

Earlier, the camp started with lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest Ajay Kumar Singh (IRS), Dy. Commissioner, Income Tax, Guest of Honour, Vijay Singh, Secretary, Red Cross Society, Jamshedpur, the Chairman of the S. D. Singh Memorial Educational Foundation, Diwakar Singh, Sudhkar Singh, Prabhakar Singh, Principal, Mrs. Moushumi Das, Vice-Principal, Ragini Singh, S.D.S.M. School Family Members and distinguished guests Arjun Munda, Ex-Chief Minister, Jharkhand, Hari Vallabh Singh, Founder Sri Krishna Public School, Chandra Gupt Singh, Social Worker were present on the occasion.
