Jamshedpur, June 6: Sabuj Kalyan Sangha (Telco) on the occasion of 72nd foundation day, organised a blood donation camp on Tuesday.
At the camp total of 178 units of blood was collected against the target of 200 units. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Somnath Ghosh from Tata Motors.
Members of Sangha took active participation at the blood donation camp along with office-bearers. Later in the evening, a cultural programme was staged which was inaugurated by vice-president of the Sabuj Kalyan Sangha, Samir Hor and Achintam Gupta by paying tributes to nine founders members of the Sangh.
During the cultural programme, Zee TV fame singer Sourav Das presented one on one old bollywood and Bengali songs which reverberated the whole atmosphere and made the audience sway.
To make the event successful, secretary of the Sangh, Mithilesh Ghosh, treasurer Amit Bose, Pradeep Ghosal, Viplav Benrjee, Jaydeep Chatterjee, Subhojit, Shiv Shankar Palit, Sopon Sarkar, Sandeep banerjee, Subroto Guha, Subroto Das and others played a vital role.
