Blood camp at SDSM School collects 261 units

Jamshedpur: To commemorate the 20th death anniversary of the founder S.D. Singh, S.D.S.M. School for Excellence organized a mega blood donation camp on 25th June in association with Red Cross Society in the school premises.

261 units of blood were donated at the camp. Donors were given a gift of appreciation for their service to the humanity. The camp was a grand success under the guidance of Principal Moushumi Das and Vice-Principal, Ragini Singh.

School chairman, Diwakar Singh shared his views about Late S.D. Singh�s contribution to the society. He also mentioned that everyone should donate blood as it replicates human values and social responsibility towards our society.

The Chief Guest for the camp was Subodh Kumar, Addl. District Magistrate and Guest of Honour Vijay Singh, Secretary, Red Cross Society, Jamshedpur. The guests delivered motivational speeches to inspire others to be a part of this life saving attempt. On this occasion Dinesh Singh, BJP District President, Anand Bihari Dubey, Rambabu Singh, Arun Singh and others were present.

Earlier, the event started with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. Addressing the august gathering Prabhakar Singh delivered a motivational speech.
