Noamundi: A six days long block level Adhikar Shivir (rights camp) was inaugurated by the local block development officer Amren Dang on Monday on the premises of Noamundi block office.
The block welfare officer Rabindra Singh Dev said, �During the six days of the camp, Jharkhand state and central government sponsored development schemes on health, education, Anganbari, Indira AwasYojana, agriculture, Nirmal Bharat Yojana, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme and old age pension scheme are to be discussed with the villagers for the benefit of the underprivileged lot and shut out the difficulties in implementing the scheme in order to minimize the hardship of the poor people.
Application forms of National family benefit scheme under National Social Assistance progammes were distributed among the public representatives.
The public representative and all departmental officers of Noamundi block participated in the camp.
Ramchandra Ram, marketing officer, ML Ravi, Pradhan Lipi, block agriculture officer Subodh Pramanik, Mukhiya Laxmi Purti, Hira Mohan Purti, Rani Tirya and Laxman Gilua along with many public representatives were present on the occasion.
