Jamshedpur, July 27: There will be no work at Tata Motors Jamshedpur plant on 29 (Saturday) and 30 July (Sunday).
The company management has taken a one-day block closure on July 29, while the company will remain closed due to the weekly holiday of the employees as July 30 is a Sunday. This means that now the employees will have to report for duty on 31 July (Monday).
A circular in this regard has been issued on Thursday by the order of Tata Motors Plant Head Ravindra Kulkarni.
Significantly, these days the demand for vehicles is quite less due to which the company keeps doing block closures continuously and employees get half their salary.
