Jamshedpur: Lalit Das, convenor of city-based social organization Samarpan, distributed blankets among 300 inmates of the Kustha Kalyan Ashram at Devnagar, Sakchi, on Thursday.
A programme was organized on this occasion at the Ashram. Das said that helping poor people was the real service of humanity.
He said everyone should come forward and help the poor and homeless people.
He said his NGO was committed to the cause of the needy people. Among others present on the occasion include Neeraj Kumar, Gyan Singh Chouhan, Rupesh Kumar, Pradip, Dev Kumar, Sanjeev Nayak, Ramesh Nag and Amit Agrawal.
