Jamshedpur, June 26 : Teachers and non-teaching staff of Jamshedpur Co-operative College Intermediate Section collectively protested against the policies of the government by wearing black badges on Monday.
Significantly, in light of the new education policy in Jharkhand, intermediate studies have been stopped in 62 constituent colleges across the state. Lakhs of children from rural and urban area are wandering here and there in search of enrollment. If the enrollment is not started in the current session, then there will be a problem of livelihood in front of about 5000 teachers, employees and about 20,000 of their relatives across the state. In view of this, teachers and employees from all over the state are protesting against the policies of the government to protect their livelihood and are demanding to start enrollment in class 11th and make adjustments.

Along with this, students are also agitating for their enrollment in universities across the country. Only assurances are being received from the government and officials. No concrete initiative is being taken.
Agitations were held at ABM College in Golmuri, LBSM College in Karandih, Jamshedpur Workers College in Mango.
