Jamshedpur, July 23: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha activists launched the party�s membership drive in Raghubar Market near Abdul Bari Memorial College in Golmuri on Saturday.
BJYM Golmuri unit president Amish Agrawal said hundreds of youths and other citizens joined the BJP as primary members. The new members were inducted through a missed call.
Addressing the gathering on this occasion, district BJYM president Amarjeet Singh Raja said the youths were showing great interest in the membership drive. He said people were impressed by the pro-development and pro-poor policies of the state government. As a result, many people are coming to the party to join it, he said.
The BJP leaders present during the membership campaign included Probir Chatterjee Rana, Binod Gupta, Anoop Deepu Verma, Buty Singh, Rishabh Singh, Laxman Behra, Hemant Agrawal, Shashi Pandey and Devashish Jha.
