Jamshedpur: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha members launched a public awareness campaign on cleanliness in Dipasai Busti near Daiguttu, Mango, on Sunday.
They moved through the busti and collected garbage from the locality.
They also talked to local residents, especially women and children and asked them to play their role adequately to ensure the success of Swachh Bharat campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The garbage collected from the busti was carried away in a vehicle for disposal. The campaign was led by the Mango unit president of BJYM, Vijay Ojha.
Among those present on the occasion included Vinay Kumar, Hemant Singh, Prem Dixit, Jagdish Sao, Sagar Ojha, Jitendra Pandey, Naresh Das and Pankaj Sahu.
