Jamshedpur: BJP executives and members garlanded the statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and paid floral tributes to the legendary freedom fighter. The Ambagaan Maidan now named Netaji Subhas Chandra Maidan, was today witness to people and groups paying floral tributes to one of the pivotal heroes of the freedom movement.
The BJP delegation led by party�s district president garlanded the statue of Netaji and paid floral tributes. Minster Saryu Roy and parliamentarian Bidyut Baran Mahto were also present on the occasion.
Saryu Roy observed, �Netaji�s contribution to the independence movement remains precious. He countered British moves mentally and policy wise. We should imbibe his nationalistic ideologies.�
Bidyut Baran Mahto, while speaking on the occasion stated, �Netaji�s courage, boldness and personality will remain relevant in every era.�
BJP state spokesperson Rajesh Shukla also spoke on the occasion.
Among the BJP delegation who paid tribute to Netaji on his Birth Anniversary were former party district president Chandrashekhar Mishra, Khadi Board member Kulwant Singh Bunty, Bhupendra Singh, Satyaprakash Singh, Anil Modi, Rakesh Singh, Sunil Bari, Amarjit Singh Raja, Satbir Singh Somu, Vimal Baitha, Sriram Prasad, Anmol Verma, Amrendra Paswan, Niru Singh, Priti Sinha, S Kartick, Sima Jaiswal and Sabi Singh.
