BJP�s OBC cell targets four lakh enrollments in membership drive

Jamshedpur, July 4: The BJP�s OBC cell held a state level meeting in Hazaribag today on the issue of membership drive scheduled to be undertaken by the party between July 6 and August 10. The meeting was chaired by the party�s OBC cell state president Amarjit Yadav.

Cell�s state vice president-cum-membership drive in-charge Haldhar Narayan Sah said that out of Jharkhand state�s target of netting in 30 lakh membership, the OBC cell�s target is four lakh which, he believed, would be achieved within the stipulated period. �I am confident that by going into the membership drive, all district in-charges of 513 blocks will attain the target by working on a war footing,� he stated.

The chief guest BJP state organization general secretary Dharmpal Singh, all party state officials jointly lit the traditional lamp to initiate the proceedings. In his address Dharmpal Singh said the membership drive would be initiated on July six in all states and would continue upto August 10. He urged all district chiefs of the state to comply with the target by July 30.

Hazaribag BJP legislator and special guest Manoj Jaiswal expressed confidence that on all the seven party�s OBC cell fronts, the target would be achieved. The Jamshedpur representatives at today�s meeting included state membership drive in-charge Haldhar Narayan Sah, OBC cell district president Gopal Prasad Jaiswal, general secretary Rajeshwar Sahu, district membership in-charge Raj Kumar Sah and spokesperson-cum-membership official Shrikant Dev.
