Jamshedpur: Former MLA of Jamshedpur West and senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Saryu Roy today said the voters had honoured the party by dressing it up with �kurta� by giving it majority.
Now the voters should further honour the party by giving it the �pyjama� by giving it majority in Jharkhand, he said.
The BJP leader said the party was sure of leading a majority government in the state He said the party will take initiative to form the government in Ranchi only on getting a clear majority. He said so during a press conference organized at Tulsi Bhavan, Bistupur.
Roy said the party had started preparations for the Assembly elections. He said the party was working on its election manifesto. He said the agenda will be prepared by the end of this month. He said the party would base its manifesto on the problems and suggestions of the people. He said the party would be sending teams to all five divisions in the state to collect public issues and suggestions.
The BJP leader said the conference of the SC and ST wing of the party workers of Jamshedpur West constituency on 16th August at Utkal Association, Sakchi.
Roy said a large number of party activists will be leaving for Ranchi tomorrow to gherao the Assembly to demand a solution to the various problems being faced by the people of the state.
He said the party activists will agitate before the DC office in case the work of starting supplying water and electricity to the various bustees of the city was not started by 15th August by Jusco.
He alleged that the supply procedure was stopped due to the interference of a local public representative.
