BJP will end the Cong-JMM reign of terror: Former Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das

Jamshedpur, Dec 7: BJP vice president and former Chief Minister Raghubar Das came out openly against the current state government while observing, “One year of the Hemant Soren led government rule has nothing but a demolished law and order status, rampant corruption, enhanced extremist activities, spurt in incidences of rape and rampant unemployment to show in its report card to the people. The citizens of the state are a disillusioned lot. BJP is not a small party but a major and the largest political party in the world committed to the mission of cultural nationalism. BJP will end the Congress-JMM reign of terror unleashed in the state and elsewhere.”

Supporting the centre’s introduction of the New Farm Bills, Raghubar Das stated that they were aimed at eliminating middlemen who were eating into the farmers’ profits. He said, “The Farm Bills have been envisaged to make farmers financially stronger and more able. The Bills will provide farmers options to sell their produce at markets of their choice. However MSP denominators and the Mandi system will remain in place.”

The BJP national vice president taking a jibe at the opposition parties claimed that all of them were opposed to Narendra Modi and his government and were taking the opportunity to side with the farmers’ agitation to gain political mileage. He observed, “Their designs of weakening the country will be made to eat dust. They are being urged in their nefarious designs by foreign agents.”

Raghubar Das ridiculed the Hemant Soren government for shedding, what he termed crocodile tears in the farmers’ cause. As a pointer, he stated, “While the Hemant Soren government is bent on a show of compassion towards farmers in the form of shedding crocodile tears it, after coming to power, abolished the farmer friendly Mukhiya Mantri Krishi Ashirwad Yojna which was aimed at strengthening the 22 lakh farmers of the state.”

Das said, “When Article 370 and 35 A was lifted form Jammu and Kashmir, it heralded the culmination of dubious designs by a particular family. The people of Jammu and Kashmir are breathing a lot easier now. Similarly, the lot of farmers will see a brighter horizon with the introduction of the new Farm Bills.”
