Jamshedpur: BJP will observe December 25 as Good Governance Day and observe the 94th birth anniversary of the bulwark of Indian politics late Atal Bihari Vajpayee. On the day the BJP Mahanagar unit will organize a blood donation camp and Padyatra. The camp will function between 9 am and 4 pm. The decision was taken at a meet of BJP Mahanagar unit�s district officials at the party�s head office.
Chairing the meeting BJP district president Dinesh Kumar informed that the blood donation camp would be organized at Golmuri Cable Welfare Club. He said that a large number of party leaders and officials and supporters will donate blood voluntarily in salutation to Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He said that donors will be sending out the message of service and dedication on the occasion of Good Governance Day.
The BJP district president asked all member units to speed up the processes of membership drive and verifying documents at all booth levels. He also instructed party district officials during the Padyatra to ensure joining of new members to the party fold. Dinesh Kumar also told that each party official, apart from home unit should take feedbacks from units under their purview.
The meeting was conducted by Chandra Shekhar Gupta and the vote of thanks was offered by Chittaranjan Verma. Among others who were present during the meeting included Bhupendra Singh, Bari Murmu, Dipak Parikh, Amarjit Singh Raja, Kaju Sandalya and Bimal Baitha.
