Jamshedpur: Jharkhand BJP is now focusing on preparations for the state assembly elections. BJP and its allies will form the next government in the state with a two-third majority. This was claimed by Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Sunday shortly after his arrival at Jamshedpur Airport in Sonari.
Speaking to scribes, Das said, BJP will go ahead with a target of winning 65 plus seats in the Assembly polls. Lok Sabha elections have seen total demolition of the Opposition all over the country. Voters have given clear mandate in favour of the party. They have rejected the tall and fake claims of Oppositions grand alliance. They have made it clear that now governments cannot just run on oratory skills and dynasty politics. Only real performance and delivery will matter.
Das said the BJPs historic win is the victory of the people of India. He said the people of Jharkhand, especially Adivasis, too, had shown selfish regional parties the door.
Das said in Santhal, poor Adivasis were used as mere vote bank by regional parties who gave the slogan of Jal, Jungle and Zameen and kept Jharkhand miles away from development. Modi government and the state government have expedited development work in the state, he said.
