BJP thanks CM for starting NH repair work

Jamshedpur: District BJP president Dinesh Kumar expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Raghubar Das here on Friday for ordering repair of NH33. He said the repair of the Tata-Ranchi highway would ensure greater connectivity between various districts of the state. He said he had demanded repair of the highway in the working committee meeting of district BJP held in Telco on Sunday last.

�The CM had assured to take prompt action on our demands. In just four days, the government departments concerned sprang into action and the repair work was started. This shows the promptness of the state government,� said Kumar.

Kumar further said that the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has given approval for the repair of the highway from Ranchi to Mahulia at an expense of Rs 21 crore. Three contractors would carry out the repair work. Better roads would ensure more investments in the state, said the BJP president.
