Jamshedpur: District BJP spokesperson Ankit Anand on Monday met the district superintendent of education (DSE) Banke Bihari Singh and complained to him against the management of a private school in Telco for allegedly �commercializing� education.
In the written complaint, Anand alleged that the school management had asked all parents and guardians to purchase books from a certain book dealer. The school management had also organized a sale of uniforms on its campus recently. Parents and guardians were asked to pay an advance money of Rs 400 for purchasing the uniforms, he said.
Anand has submitted copies of his complaint to the chairperson and secretary of Shiksha Prasar Kendra, Telco, and sought action against the said school.
Anand further alleged that the said school had taken Rs 7500 each from parents in the name of establishment fee despite for its old building.
