Jamshedpur, Sept: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP paid homage to Jan Sangh founder and party ideologue Pundit Deendayal Upadhyaya on the occasion of his birth anniversary. A programme was organized at the party office on Wednesday. Many party members and supporters were present on this occasion. Rajya Sabha MP Sameer Oraon was also present. He appealed to party workers to reach out to the common man and make the dream of Pundit Deendayal Upadhyaya true.
District BJP president Dinesh Kumar garlanded a statue of the party ideologue at Pundit Deendayal Upadhyaya Community Centre at Jail Chowk, Sakchi. He said the principles and teachings of Pundit Upadhyaya will always be relevant.
Others present during the programme included Rajesh Shukla, Vinod Singh, Nandjee Prasad, Ajay Srivastava, Vikas Singh, Bhupendra Singh, Satyaprakash Singh, Bari Murmu, Haldhar Narayan Shah, Ankit Anand, Amarjeet Singh Raja, DD Tripathy, Neeru Singh and Preeti Sinha.
