Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP organized meetings in different areas of the city on Saturday to make plans for its upcoming 150 km padyatra programme. The meetings were held in Golmuri, Baridih, Burmamines, Sakchi, Sitaramdera and Birsanagar.
The in-charge of Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency Kamlesh Singh was present at the meeting along with the district BJP president Dinesh Kumar. He said the padyatra would be held for the next 15 days in all Mandal units of Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency. Teams of 30 party workers would go from door to door and inform people about the benefits of various government schemes. Party workers were asked to devote at least two hours to the organization, said Singh.
Those present at the meeting included Mithilesh Singh Yadav, Khemlal Choudhary, Sanjeev Singh, Gurdev Singh Raja, Pawan Agrawal, Sushanto Panda and Haldhar Narayan Sah.
