Jamshedpur: Ichagarh MLA and BJP leader Sadhucharan Mahato will not be surrendering before police on Monday. This was informed here on Sunday by the district BJP president of Seraikela-Kharsawan Uday Singhdeo. He said the party leaders have asked the MLA, booked for slapping a land revenue officer in Seraikela recently, to wait for a high level probe ordered by the CM to get over.
According to Singhdeo, �The CM has set up a high level committee to conduct inquiry into allegations of misbehavior and assault by the MLA leveled by the land revenue officer. Once the probe report is submitted, the MLA would surrender before the police. Till then, he has been asked to wait.�
An FIR has been lodged against the BJP legislator and 150 others with the Nimdih police station.
