Jamshedpur, May 12: This time around, the keen interest shown by voters, especially the youth and the first timers, was at its peak during todays Lok Sabha polls for the Jamshedpur seat. The district administration had made special arrangements for physically challenged voters which proved to be a big boon. In spite of these facilities, BJP workers at booths helped senior citizens and physically challenged voters by helping them to their booths and bringing them back after they had cast their votes. BJP leaders and workers were seen participating actively in helping such people to exercise their franchise.
The partys district spokesperson Ankit Anand lent his able support at the polling booths in Ghorabandha Nirmal Mahto School and Kharangajhar Community School where he helped the physically challenged voters to alight from vehicles and gently carry them in a wheelchair to cast their votes. Ankit was assisted by senior party leaders Anil Srivastav, Asish Paul, Lucky Mahto, Arun Shukla and party workers.
