Jamshedpur: BJP Mahila Morcha reached out to women voters during a mass contact campaign launched on Wednesday. The Baridih Mandal unit of BJP Mahila Morcha convened a meeting with the local women in Bagunhatu and informed them about the achievements of the Raghubar Das government.
Addressing the meeting, the outfit president Mukta Namta said the state government had started many public welfare schemes. These schemes are meant to bring about qualitative changes in the lives of marginalized sections, she said.
Namta said the beneficiaries of all schemes should keep themselves aware of all government schemes and their benefits. She said the state government wants to empower all women. But this can be possible only if women are aware of their rights, she said.
The BJP Mahila Morcha leaders informed the gathering about Mukhyamantri Sukanya Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana and various other schemes.
During the meeting, the party members discussed about the nomination of Chief Minister Raghubar Das on 18th November. All members were asked to register their presence on the day.
Those present at the meeting included Santosh Thakur, Arun Tiwary, Ganga Devi, Pramila Devi, Rupa Devi, Mini Singh and Mithilesh Singh Yadav.
