Gamharia, Sept 11: BJP leaders convened a meeting with the villagers of Gamharia block on Sunday and launched a signature campaign for the reconstruction of Hathnada-Shardabera road. Leading the programme, Ramesh Hansda said the local villagers had voted for local MLA and Minister Champai Soren for 30 years. But the MLA, he alleged, did not take the pains to visit his constituency to find out the current state of public amenities available to the people.
Hansda said the villagers should rise above petty differences and should put up a united front against the apathetic attitude of the powers-that-be. He appealed to the villagers to attend a padyatra (march on foot) on 27th September and reach the DC office to demad various public amenities for themselves.
