BJP leaders chalk out sure-footed strategy for election win

Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Mahanagar Bharatiya Janata Party leaders on Friday huddled at the Dayal City auditorium in Chhota Govindpur to mull over plans to win the 2019 elections with a landslide victory. The occasion was the meeting of the district working committee of the BJP.

Led by Satyendra Kumar, organizational in-charge of Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP, the party members took a pledge to reach out to the masses and make them aware of the development and reforms that have taken place under the BJP regime.

Kumar said the BJP was getting huge support and cooperation from the people in majority of states in the country due to the development works being carried out by the government. He said the determination with which the BJP was forging ahead was enough to ensure its historic victory in the elections.

District BJP president Dinesh Kumar said the party was committed to Antyodaya which could be attained with the welfare of the last man on the street.

A large number of party workers were present at the meeting. They discussed various political proposals and agenda for the elections. They expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Raghubar Das for eradicating poverty, unemployment, hunger and corruption. MP of Jamshedpur Bidyut Baran Mahato and party MLAs were praised for their achievements in fulfilling various demands of the people.

Homage was paid to the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee by the party leaders. Photos of the former PM were provided to all Mandal unit presidents of the party.

The proposals discussed at the meeting pertained to fixing of fair for school auto-rickshaws and vans by the state government and district administration, issuance of NOC for development projects, pension for retired para-teachers and taking stringent action in corruption cases.

Former state BJP president Dineshanand Goswami underlined the crucial role played by booth level party workers. State BJP spokesperson Rajesh Shukla praised the Central and state governments for their achievements in fighting corruption.
Among others present at the meeting included Manoj Kumar Singh, Kalyani Sharan and Rambabu Tiwary.
