Complain to state leadership of favouritism in party’s rank
Jamshedpur, April 12: Factionalism is rearing its head in BJP Jamshedpur unit with few leaders and party activists raising apprehension of key posts in the party confined to favourites of a particular leader.
Several leaders including Amar Singh, met BJP state president Deepak Prakash and former state president Ravindra Rai and other leaders on Wednesday. These people complained that an organization like BJP has been made an organization of a special person.
These people have also sent a complaint letter to BJP’s state in-charge Laxmikant Bajpai. In their complaint, people have said that in Jamshedpur BJP, the president is being appointed continuously from Jamshedpur East assembly only. Due to this, there is a lot of resentment among the people of all other assembly constituencies.

Even in the present committee also the number of members from Jamshedpur East is significantly more.
Gunjan Yadav is currently the president with a special influence. In their district office bearers 15 member list, eight are office bearers only from Jamshedpur East Assembly and Yuva Morcha president and Mahila Morcha president SC Morcha president is also from East. Similarly, among the members of the State Working Committee, about 10 members are from Jamshedpur East Assembly only. For this reason, step-motherly treatment is being given to the workers of other assembly.
Many posts including the vice president are also vacant. Posts are also vacant in all mandals including Yuva Morcha, the leaders alleged. Those who had left the BJP have been brought back and new posts have been distributed again. Along with the complaint letter, a list has also been handed over which shows that most of the key office bearers are from the Jamshedpur East.
