Jamshedpur: Senior BJP leader and Jamshedpur resident Dhanurdhar (D.D.) Tripathi has been appointed as the National President of the Swarna Mahasangh Foundation of India, a move aimed at consolidating the voice of the upper caste community on the national platform. The announcement was made in Lucknow during a meeting led by the organization’s founder Gajendra Mani Tripathi and co-founder Thakur Om Prakash Singh.
The decision marks a significant step in the foundation’s mission to ensure political, social, economic, and cultural representation of the upper caste society. In his acceptance remarks, Tripathi expressed pride and commitment towards his new role.
Speaking after his appointment, D.D. Tripathi emphasized that there is a growing sense of neglect and negative perception toward the upper caste community, particularly when it comes to institutional representation and participation. “I have long been raising the demand for a party platform front for upper castes and the formation of an Upper Caste Commission. Today, this organization has entrusted me with the responsibility to fight for this cause at the national level. It is a matter of honor and duty,” he said.
Tripathi further stressed that the Swarna Mahasangh Foundation will work to bring the upper caste society onto one united platform, advocating for their rightful place and participation in all spheres of governance and policy-making.
Expressing his heartfelt thanks, Tripathi acknowledged the trust shown in him by founder Gajendra Mani Tripathi, co-founder Thakur Om Prakash Singh, and the entire national executive of the foundation. “With full dedication and energy, I will work towards building a strong voice for the upper caste community and ensure that our issues are heard at the highest level,” he added.
The Swarna Mahasangh Foundation of India is an emerging socio-political organization focused on the upliftment and advocacy of upper caste concerns, especially in the face of perceived marginalization. With Tripathi at the helm, the foundation is expected to step up its efforts to seek constitutional recognition, equitable representation, and a commission dedicated to upper caste affairs.
