Saraikela, March 10: The district BJP committee organized a felicitation ceremony for former defense personnel at ASIA Bhawan. The chief guests were BJP state president and parliamentarian Laxman Gilua, party parliamentarian Bidyut baran Mahto, Ichagarh legislator Sadhu Charan Mahto, Adityapur Municipal corporation mayor Vinod kumar Srivastav and deputy mayor Amit Singh.
These defense personnel had dedicated the precious times of their lives to the service of the country and the citizens. Speaking on the occasion, Bidyut Baran Mahto observed that these gallant men might have retired from the defense services but they were very much active in the social fields. �As defense personnel they dedicatedly work amidst the most difficult conditions to protect the mother land while we sleep peacefully in our homes. After retirement, they put in their services to society with the same dedication,� he said.
