‘BJP has accepted that winning Bihar Assembly is difficult’

Jamshedpur: Advocate Sudhir Kumar Pappu has claimed that the top leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, has internally accepted that securing victory in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections will be an uphill task.

In a statement, Pappu alleged that the BJP, apprehensive about its prospects, is now conspiring to use the Election Commission as a tool to “somehow save its honour.” He said that the saffron party is worried about the rising popularity of Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav, and that defeating him is “not only difficult but very difficult.”

“The Election Commission is suddenly talking about scrutinizing the voter list with the excuse of ensuring transparency, but everyone knows this is being done to help the BJP. Now the argument is being made that Aadhaar cards will not be accepted, while every government work depends on Aadhaar,” Pappu said.

He further claimed that the BJP, which he described as the ‘number three party in Bihar’, is rattled by the growing wave of support for the Rashtriya Janata Dal. “The BJP’s anxiety is visible. They are worried about whether they will be able to save their prestige in this election,” he remarked.

According to Pappu, the BJP is following Nitish Kumar only for the sake of power and is engaged in political maneuvering to cling to relevance. “Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are alarmed by the possibility of the India Alliance winning the election. The people of Bihar have seen the failures of the Modi government on every front. There is a clear anti-BJP wave, and the public is eager to teach them a lesson,” he asserted.

Pappu expressed confidence that the Rashtriya Janata Dal will emerge as the biggest beneficiary of the growing discontent against the BJP-led government.
