Jamshedpur: In a determined bid to secure a comprehensive victory in the upcoming assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held an organizational meeting for the Jamshedpur region at the Devasthan Auditorium in Burmamines on Sunday. The meeting saw a significant turnout of party leaders and workers, who resolved to win all four assembly seats in Jamshedpur.
The meeting was attended by key BJP figures, including Regional Organization General Secretary Nagendra Nath Tripathi, former Union Minister Arjun Munda, State General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu, MP Bidyut Baran Mahto, Chhattisgarh MLA Bhavna Bohra, former Union Minister Visheshwar Tudu, District In-charge Dr. Jitu Charan Ram, former MP Abha Mahto, former MLA Maneka Sardar, State Minister Nandji Prasad, and others. The event was chaired by Jamshedpur Mahanagar President Sudhanshu Ojha.
Addressing the gathering, Nagendra Nath Tripathi urged the party workers to prepare rigorously for the assembly elections. “To increase our vote share from the last Lok Sabha elections, we must focus on contact, coordination, and communication,” he emphasized. Tripathi further highlighted the importance of strong organizational structure at the booth level, stating, “If the booth wins, the election wins. This is the fundamental mantra for our success.”
Former Union Minister Arjun Munda echoed similar sentiments, stressing the need for a robust booth-level presence to ensure electoral victory. “The Jharkhand government’s record of broken promises and governance failures should be communicated to every voter. A strong booth-level organization is critical for this, and we must run an extensive door-to-door campaign to spread our message,” Munda said.
Rajya Sabha MP and State General Secretary Aditya Sahu took stock of the organization’s work in the Jamshedpur metropolis, expressing concern over the current state government’s alleged inaction and autocratic governance. “It is our duty to inform the public about the unfulfilled promises of the Hemant government and mobilize them against it,” Sahu urged the workers.
MP Bidyut Baran Mahto also spoke at the meeting, criticizing the Hemant government for its failure to meet the people’s expectations. “Our objective extends beyond merely winning the elections. We aim to transform Jharkhand into a strong, prosperous, and developed state. This requires removing the current JMM-Congress government and forming a BJP government dedicated to comprehensive development,” Mahto asserted.
Other leaders, including Chhattisgarh MLA Bhavna Bohra and District In-charge Dr. Jitu Charan Ram, also addressed the meeting, motivating the party workers to strengthen their efforts and expand their outreach.
The meeting concluded with a strong resolution from all participants to work tirelessly towards securing all four assembly seats in Jamshedpur. District President Sudhanshu Ojha opened the meeting with a welcome address, while District General Secretary Sanjeev Singh conducted the stage. District General Secretary Anil Modi closed the event with a vote of thanks.
