BJP candidate Meera Munda files Nomination for Potka

Jamshedpur: Meera Munda, the BJP candidate for the Potka Assembly constituency and wife of former Chief Minister and Union Minister Arjun Munda, officially filed her nomination on Thursday at the East Singhbhum District Collectorate. Before filing her nomination, Meera Munda led a large procession of supporters after offering prayers at the Mukteshwar Dham Shiva Temple in Harina.
The nomination rally began from Harina and passed through Kowali, Haldipokhar, Hata, Sundernagar, and Karandih before reaching the Collectorate in Sakchi, Jamshedpur. Along the way, Meera Munda paid respects at the Bajrangbali Temple, Maa Kali Temple, and offered a garland to the statue of Birsa Munda in Haldipokhar and Hata.
Speaking on the occasion, Meera Munda expressed her gratitude to the BJP for entrusting her with the responsibility of contesting from the Potka constituency. “I will fulfill this responsibility with full dedication. During my visits to the constituency, I have received overwhelming support from the people. Our party workers are united, and we are fully prepared to secure a BJP victory,” she said.
Meera Munda was accompanied by prominent party leaders, including her husband Arjun Munda, former MLA Menka Sardar, MP representative Upendranath Sardar, and councilor Suraj Mandal. Other attendees included Devi Kumari Bhumij, Dukhni Sardar, Sukhlal Sardar, Hopna Mahuli, Ganesh Sardar, Manoj Sardar, and many other party supporters and leaders.
