State riddled with anarchy, development projects on hold: BJP

Jamshedpur, Dec 16: The BJP Mahanagar today held a demonstration at the jamshedpjur Blocvk office in Karandih accusing the Jharkhand government of being responsible for the reign of anarchy throughout the state and for failing to live up to its promises.

Jamshedpur parliamentarian Bidyut Baran Mahto said that the Jharkhand government was taking the farmers for a ride. Zila Parishad vice president Rajkumar Singh stated that the Jharkhand government lacked medical infrastructure resources to treat critical cases. He said that panchayat elections were being pushed back unnecessarily.

Sundernagar BJP Mandal president Chanchal Chakraborty opined that the Hemant Soren government’s o ne year report card was a dampener. “The entire state has been witness to anarchy during the one-year tenure of the Hemant Soren led Jharkhand government. all development projects are on hold.”

At the conclusion of the protest a BJP Mahanagar delegation handed a five point demand rejoinder to the BDO that included election of the local civic bodies, conducting of panchayat elections, purchase centers for agriculture produce, auction of sandbanks, controlling corruption and law and order problems.

Among the BJP protesters were the party’s district president Gunjan Yadav, Abhay Singh, Rajkumar Singh, Dinesh Kumar, Devendra Singh, Nandji Prasad, Pawan Agrawal, Pankaj Sinha, Jitendra Rai, Tridip Chattoraj, Bobby Sharma, Pawan Singh, Bari Murmu, Babua Singh, Varun Singh, Vivek Trivedi and others.
