BJP activists stage dharna

Gamharia: Bharatiya Janata Party activists of Adityapur, RIT and Gamharia block committees staged a demonstration before the local block offices against the policies of the state government.

The chief guest of the occasion was Shailendra Singh, state general secretary of the party. He said the government had failed to bring about development of the state with its work so far.

He criticized the government for failing to provide adequate electricity and water to the people during the summer season.

He said the handpumps were not working in many villages due to lack of initiative on part of the authorities concerned to repair them.
