BJP activists burn effigies of Sonia, Adhir at Station Chowk

Ghatshila, July 29:  Activists of the Ghatshila BJP unit led by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Ghatshila Mandal President, Mantu Prajapati, burnt the effigies of Congress President Sonia Gandhi and MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury at Ghatshila Station Chowk. Senior BJP leader Lakhan Mardi and the party’s Mandal President, Rahul Pandey were also present on the occasion.

Lakhan Mardi observed, “Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has, with his uncouth remark, has belittled tribal women. India, under the astute leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the country is on the path of rapid progress and will emerge as a world leader. On the other hand, the Congress party is going all out to defame the country and her people with comments that are unparliamentary, derogatory and abusive ever since a tribal lady has been nominated as the First Citizen by the NDA government led by BJP.”

Others present during the protest rally when the effigies of Sonia Gandhi and Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury were burnt comprised BJP District Vice President Vijay Pandey, District Treasurer Ashok Agarwal, Yuva Morcha District President Ranglal Mahato, Former Mandal President Krishna Sharma, Kaushik Kumar, Hira Singh, Pradeep Saw, Bikram Saw, Sujan Manna, Surendra Nath, Rajkumar Verma, Akash Dutta, Subhash Banerjee, and others.
