Jamshedpur: The reemerging bout of biting cold in the city was kept at bay within the Ravindra Bhawan precincts where leading exponents of Kobi Guru�s immortal musical creations cast a warm and mesmerizing spell over connoisseurs and general music lovers who thronged the auditorium on the second day of the three day Rabindra Sangeet Festival organized by the Tagore Society.
Amongst the glitterati of Rabindra Sangeet exponents was the city�s very own versatile voice Chandana Chowdhury who has won laurels and accolades from all corners of a culturally rich India. Today too, with her mellifluous voice, she enchanted the audience with her rendition of select pieces of the Master. The ovation that she received after her presentations was an experience she has made a habit of receiving after every show everywhere.
Famous names in the world of Rabindra Sangeet made today�s event an emphatic essay into the romantic milieu of Kobi Guru where his ode to nature and human feelings evoked sensations of sublimity. Paroma Bandyopadhyay, Sraboni Sen, Srikanta Acharya and Arindam Ganguly created the exciting visuals that Poet Rabindranath had aroused with his inimitable lyrical compositions.
