Ranchi, May 30: Ranchi’s BIT Mesra student Nidumol Lakshmi Narayan Rao has created history in the institution.
He has been offered a job by US cloud security company ‘Rubrik’ on an annual package of Rs 1.45 crore.
This package was not received by any student of BIT Mesra till now. Nidumolu is a student of Computer Science Engineering of the 2021-2025 batch. He is a resident of Visakhapatnam.
Nidumolu told that he studied till intermediate in his hometown and then got admission in BIT Mesra. His mother is in government job and father does business. He has an elder sister.
Nidumol was interested in IT and technical field from the beginning. Currently he is working on Artificial Intelligence Markup Language (AIML) and wants to move forward in this field.
He told that he got this big offer while working on research and projects related to this technology. The placement officer of BIT Mesra told that Nidumolu had earlier received an offer from Microsoft as well, but he chose Rubrik company.
He was already doing a 6-month internship there. Impressed by his performance, the company has appointed him on a package of Rs 1.45 crore. The good thing is that his posting will be in Bengaluru only.
