Ranchi: BIT Mesra has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with L&T Edutech to address the growing skill gap between academia and industry. The collaboration aims to equip students with industry-relevant knowledge and practical skills, enhancing their employability in the digital era.
As part of the agreement, L&T Edutech has introduced its Educate India (Learn Connect) initiative, offering BIT Mesra students access to a wide range of advanced technical courses and expert-led training.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Indranil Manna, Vice-Chancellor, BIT Mesra, said, “Our alliance with L&T Edutech reaffirms our commitment to providing a holistic learning experience that blends theoretical education with hands-on industrial exposure. We are confident that this initiative will empower our students to make significant contributions to the industry.”
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by key officials from BIT Mesra, including the Registrar, Deans and Associate Deans, alongside L&T representatives, including Sanjeev Sharma, Head of Domestic Marketing Network and Rajesh Sinha, Branch Manager, East Singhbhum.
This partnership marks a major step towards creating a robust educational framework that aligns academic excellence with industry demands, preparing students for the evolving job market.
