Birhor Children visit Ranchi Science Centre

West Bokaro, March 26: Under the 11th edition of Tata Volunteering week, Tata Steel officials of West Bokaro Division celebrated a day with 34 Birhor children during their excursion visit to Ranchi Science Centre on Monday.

The world of science is a mystery, the more one tries to express, the more threads it offers to unravel making it an interesting topic for the students to study and discover. Keeping this in mind, the visit organized by Tata Steel Rural Development Society for the students of St Robert�s High School, Hazaribagh aimed at giving the students an opportunity to learn with fun and develop interest towards science apart from spreading happiness among them.

The students were enthralled and mesmerized to see and understand the various exhibits at the centre during their �out-of-school� experience.

It is worth mentioning here that with the support of Tata Steel, all these children belonging to Birhor Tola from Duru Kasmar village under Mandu block of Ramgarh district are studying at St Robert�s High School, Hazaribagh and the Company bears all the education expenses like boarding, lodging, fees etc. for these children.
