Jamshedpur, Jan 13: Bingsati Dutta, a MA English student from Jamshedpur Women’s University (JWU), has been selected to represent her university in Kathak dance at the 38th All India University Youth Festival (2024-25). She achieved this national-level recognition after her outstanding performance at the East Zonal Youth Festival. Her performance earned her the top position among participants from 18 universities across Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, and Odisha.
This remarkable achievement highlights her dedication and passion for classical dance, and it reflects positively on the university and the state of Jharkhand. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Anjila Gupta congratulated Bingsati Dutta, praising her hard work and commitment to the classical arts.
The entire team of Jamshedpur Women’s University’s sports and cultural department played a crucial role in her success. Dr. Sanatan Deep, Chairman of the department, acknowledged the significant contribution of Bingsati’s training and support from Sudha Deep, Preeti, and Rajrishi Chakraborty in achieving this milestone.
