Jamshedpur, Oct 9: Cases of crime are on the rise in Jamshedpur. Two bike borne men snatched chain from the neck of a woman outside the Navjeevan Pathology in Baradwari under Sitaramdera Police Station jurisdiction on Friday. Woman screamed but the accused managed to flee the scene. Soon after the incident Sitaramdera Police arrived at the spot and has started their investigation.
Police went to the same direction from where the bike borne accused escaped and found that the chain was lying down on the road. According to reports, the chain was not of pure gold but city gold and the accused threw it on the road when they came to know about the jewelery. It is worth mentioning that with 12 hour this is the second incident of snatching. Earlier on Friday morning two men tried to snatch mobile phone from a commuter near JRD Tata Sports Complex under Bistupur Police Station jurisdiction. Locals along with QRT managed to catch both the youths and were handed over to the police. ��������
