Bi-cycle rally marks Swachhta Diwas

Chaibasa, Sept. 15: Swachhta Diwas in West Singhbhum district started with bi-cycle rally led by Deputy Commissioner Arava Rajkamal and Superintendent of Police Anish Gupta. The rally traversed through various parts of the town and culminated at Bus stand on Friday. The Swachhta mission department had put up banners depicting swachhta messages during the rally. The Chamber of commerce, government officers, rotary club and many social organizations including generous people of the town and students took part in the rally.
Meanwhile, a cleanliness program was also organized at deputy commissioner office campus, police line Gandhi Maidan and Post office chowk to Bus stand which was joined by various social organizations. Cleanliness drive will continue till 2nd October in the district.
